After a long journey across the country, from the Caribbean to the pacific, we finally arrived in the Guanacaste region where we visited Marlen and her family. Marlen is our next oven candidatas that is excited to work alongside Bricks to Bread. Her oven project includes working alongside her mother, sister, and cousin, giving them all an opportunity to rise above poverty, empowered to share their gifts of bread baking.
