La panaderia almendra is now open! Daysi has been hard at work with her new oven! For her first official bake she sold two pizzas and eight bags of breads!
She is so grateful for all those who were involved and for those who have and continue to support her: “no tengo palabras para agradecer todo lo que estas bellas personas hicieron por mi y por mi familia… gracias a todas estas maravillosas personas que hicieron mi sueño y la de mi familia una realidad a todos los que vinieron a trabajar a dar su tiempo… a los chicos que estando de vacaciones vinieron a trabajar son todos increibles y a los que no pudieron estar pero que también fueron parte importante para realizar este sueño sólo me queda decirles muchas gracias infinitas y que Dios bendiga”
Translation: “I don’t have the words to thank all of the beautiful people for what they did for me and my family … thank you to all these wonderful people that made my and my families dream a reality and to all who came to work by giving their time… to the kids who were on vacation and came to work, they were all incredible and those who were not able to be there but were still a very important part for my dream to come true. I will forever say infinite thank yous and may God bless you.”
