Bricks to Bread is charging ahead! President and Co-Founder, Nancy Alvarado, will be traveling back to Costa Rica in the coming weeks to meet with more individuals interested in our mission. There are three communities with that would like to learn more about our ovens and see the San Marcos oven in action. Nancy will travel with Laura (and possibly Cristina) to visit three different communities and speak with the women there.

Nancy is also thrilled to have visits scheduled with current and new partners in San Jose. She will meet with the Peace Corps and their new upcoming director. She will discuss the July 2018 oven build with Urbarium; who is helping us with the construction component. She is also meeting with Red de Mujeres (a women entrepreneur network) and Global Shapers. As well as, meeting with an organization named CRUSA who help fund projects like ours.

We continue to make great connections and strengthen our relationships with our in-country partners.  The highlight of these meetings is that Laura will be joining Nancy and sharing her success story as well!
