WHY WE STARTED OKTOBERFIESTA: To celebrate our communities, our donors, and our volunteers.

EVENT OVERVIEW: Come join us and enjoy what we’ve grown to love about Oktoberfiesta – warm pretzels out of the oven and great times spent with friends and family. This year, you’ll be able to pick up custom Oktoberfiesta Fun Kits and enjoy them while practicing social distancing on our lawn, around your own warm fire pit, or in the comfort of your cozy home. We will be offering three unique Oktoberfiesta Fun Kits with warm pretzels fresh out of the oven along with fixings and spirits from local sponsors – Rustica Bakery, Marna’s Cafe, Venn Brewer, 5 Vodka, and Finnegans – who have all come together to offer you some of their most popular and creative offerings for these special Oktoberfiesta Fun Kits.

WHEN: Pick Up Days: Sundays October 11th and/or 25th.

TIME: Pick Up Times: 3:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. During your selected time of pickup, you will also be able to choose beverage options, both with and without alcohol – carefully crafted locally and specially paired to enjoy with your warm pretzels. Kits are limited so be sure to make your selection and choose your time slot for pickup soon. Your Oktoberfiesta kits will be available for easy pick up at the Bricks to Bread lawn within the pick-up slots selected during your purchase. Thank you again to everyone who has participated this year with us in an effort to support women entrepreneurs in rural Costa Rica . We’re excited to see you on either (or both) October 11th and 25th.

When you donate or purchase an Oktoberfiesta Fun Kit you are supporting our vision to alleviate extreme poverty and break down gender inequities by empowering female entrepreneurs in rural communities in Costa Rica. Now more than ever women in rural areas of Costa Rica are suffering from extreme poverty because of economic failures due to COVID-19. Your support will help us empower them to achieve their dreams. In addition, our COVID-19 Response Project supports these communities during these unique times to ensure their financial livelihood.
